One of these.
Any chance of translating that to English?

Trying something new with a MT... the Amphibian clip is really nice but tight AF. Wearing some pants with the reinforced pocket for a knife and it may not even come out the pocket if I pull on it. Otherwise a fantastic knife so far.

Any chance you could humor me with a few more photos of that engraved lockback?

Yessir. It’s a handmade Marble’s I’ve had for 25 years I know for sure. The blade says Seki Japan. It has ridden many thousands of miles with me.

Thank you.

That is a very cool piece and I’m sure it has plenty of memories embedded in it.
I wish you many more years in good health with it in your pocket and on adventures.

Very kind of you sir! Thank you much. It’s very much a part of me. I have very few possessions that I treasure more. Do you happen to know any kind of history on those knives? It is the only one of its kind that I have ever seen.

Sounds like someone needs to commission a slip for that storied beauty 😁

Unfortunately, it is also the first one I’ve seen before. It got my interest piqued…and I’m a little bit of a fan of engraved knives. :)

However, I’m sure the fine folks over in the Traditional Subforum here would have some information for you. :)

You could start a thread with photos and ask. :)

I'd venture a guess that knife was made in Seki City, possibly by Tak Fukuta, during the time that Jim Parker was "using" the Marbles name...
