My 2023 EDC rotation featured these knives... what's in your pocket?

Look at the blade and you'll see the Parker Eagle logo....
You are correct. Makes perfect sense. The first link has the exact same knife as mine. Only difference is that mine has a CS stamped into the opposite side by of the eagle. I’d like to find one more floating around. I could retire mine, lol.

I have so many knives that most of 'em tend not to get carried much, and I'll sometimes carry knives just so I can enjoy them, but honestly, there are three knives I've carried most days last year (which is why my participation in the EDC thread hasn't been as prolific this year as in past years). Those three knives are:

Third Place - Spartan Harsey SHF (Runes & Staves edition): just a tremendous knife, and essentially what you'd get if you dialed the wick up on a Sebenza 21 and gave it thumbstuds actually worth a damn. Just a perfect hard use framelock.
Second Place - Tactile Knives Maverick: I was one of the lucky folks to get a fairly early one with zero issues or flaws, that is a phenomenal knife. Favorite lock, favorite materials!
First Place - Taking the gold for the knife I carried most of the time in 2023, my Spyderco GB1. I fell back in love with knives whose main purpose and design is to just...cut. And that knife has been simply superb in all ways that matter to me. I simply cannot say enough good things about this knife. It's probably in my top five of all the knives I own (and all the rest of them cost me a lot more!).

The Winner and Still the Reigning champ going into 2024!!!

One or both of these two pretty much the whole year, my Strider SnG hybrid GG and re-covered GEC #86 Barlow. Pic is from earlier in the year when it wasn't freezing and dark out. ;)

Updated to add: It didn't arrive until later in the year, but the Matriarch 2 has also been a staple. Here's the whole trio.

These are the same pics I posted in the "favorites of 2023" thread, but it follows naturally that they were also most prominent in the rotation

Most carried was the Sebenza

The Cru-Wear Manix also got quite a bit of pocket time

The Buck Sprint Pro paired with a Vic Cadet and Boker Trapper was my most carried pairing

These two were my hiking combo, and they got plenty of pocket time this year

One that I bought on a whim and carried much more than I ever thought I would was the Victorinox Winemaster

And the one that got the most work, as I bought and renovated a house in 2023, was the S90V Para 3
(my SIL also bought a place up the street with established fruit trees I was put in charge of, and it was my go-to knife while tending to them)

Far and away the knife I carried most last year was a wharncliffe Spyderco Endela SE in VG10 steel.

2024 is the year my Spartan Harsey takes over the role of primary folder. Already it's been kicking ass AND taking names and we're not even half way through January.
