  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

allenC,
Incredible grain on that walnut; great, great knife. Wow.

Allen you make me sick :barf:

Great looking knife. I love the wood on it, and it goes great with the NS bolsters.

Thanks, one and all.

I think this one might be the perfect Buck 110 for me....

As much as I loved the standard 110, I really wanted something a little better than 420HC.

And as much as I loved the Alaskan Guide 110, I really like nickle-silver bolsters (not as much polishing involved....yeah, I'm lazy:o), and I like finger-grooves too.

And as much as I love my buffalo-horn 110, I also really love wood scales.
And I think the flat sides of the wood-scale models are perhaps alittle more comfortable in my grip that the rounded buffalo-horn scales.

This one feels perfect and looks beautiful too!

Dare I say it?
Could this knife be "THE ONE"?

I don't think its shiny enough. Joking. :)

That buffalo 110 you have is about the tastiest 110 I've ever seen.

Why not BG42? In fact that knife there, with BG42, is what I will order in the coming weeks. Great knife all around...... !

Allen C. I love the wood scales on your new custom.Walnut
is a great wood.

As my role model, Daffy Duck, would say, "drool, drool..."

I need a lobster bib for these threads.

Why not BG42?
Only because I already have 110's with BG-42 and S30V.
And now that I have one with ATS-34, I jsut need to get the ProShop 110 with 154CM.
I might even get inspired enough to have a cutting test to see which steel I like best.
If so, I'll keep you guys informed.

can you post pics of your Buffalo Horn?
Heck yeah!

User for sure.
In fact, it's on my belt even as I type this.:)

Great knife, allenC. I have a couple custom 110s in BG-42 and I don't recall the Bos HT etch.

That's a beautiful knife.

:)
