My AK Test Video clip.

That's a sweet little wak! What are the stats on that thing? Now seeing it live I have an idea of the scale. Can you get two hands on it? I have no training in Japanese sword play, but have studied WMA... That just looks like it would be a fun sword to go into the bush with :D

That's awesome Dave! I have a stack of tires in the back I beat on with trainers. You have to actually hit/chop/cut something to get a good feel for the sword. I just have to rig somethong up for this baby. Or find somewhere I can take this w/o getting in trouble.

Dave: have you ever cut rattan with your AKs? I have a bunch of that. Perhaps I'll give that a try tonight.

I searched google for some test cutting w/ swords and most were cutting fresh bamboo (hallow). I'm not sure where I could find that.

Hey Bud... I've done a whack of test cutting with my WMA longswords and what not. We use water filled milk jugs and other plastic containers. You could always take a whack at water filled aluminum (sp?) pop cans.

Rattan would probably work, but I could see it splintering...

xizor: Good ideas man. Thanks. :)

I was also going to try one of those cardboard tubes that posters come in. They are pretty thick.
