lol. I'm just another knife geek! ;)

I am bringing home some of those thick cardboard tubes that posters and such are mailed in to prevent damage. I will take some vids and pics today and post them so stay tuned. If I do not then it probably means I fatally wounded myself. :D

This should be fun.

You guys are KILLING me! I haven't even beat on my Ruck yet, and now I'm getting those unnatural urges for the AK!

O.K. This is no Nuclear test by D. Brown but it was fun. (Dial-up warning)

Clip 1: Cuts on a cardboard tube used to keep posters safe. I think I had my Periodic Table of Elements in this one. It does so with little effort. It's about 1.4 mb.

Clip 2: This is a wooden post I have left over from a landscaping project. It is pretty hard. I am not used to chopping into a completely verticle object so you can see me getting used to it. Approx. 4.02 mb

That's all for now as I have to take my daughter to an Indian Princess meeting.

Note: Any short commings in the above clips is the fault of the weilder. The AK rocks. ;)

I forgot to mention that a close inspection of the blade showed now damage what-so-ever! Still shaving sharp. Just some smoothing of the coating. :)

Awesome!

How much "vibration" were you getting in your hands whacking that landscaping timber?

Very Nice Clips. After seeing these,I am rethinking the use of a long narrow sword. Not making light of your skills,But do you remember the skits that John Belushi did on SNL.:D

AH, CRAP!!!! Now I "need" an AK. And a sheath. Prefereably one for over the should carry. AAARGH. I was saving my knife budget for the ganza.

Are you thinking of a kydex or leather sheath? I'm undecided. I'll probably get both eventually.

I'm a big fan of Kydex. That said, i am thinking of a leather sheath for my FBM now that I have a semper paratus one. For the AK, I think kydex on a "webbing" rig for OTS carry/draw.

Nice clips! I am sure you work a demo into the physics part of your curriculum. Those 8th graders will love it!!

Wait till their parents call the Principal. :D

You know I am dying to do stuff like that. As far as edged tools are concerned I could work them into our sections on Simple Machines and Forces. I am always trying to explain to my students that a "knife" is a great tool. But this being East Los Angeles I have my work cut out for me as knives are seen mainly as a thugs weapon. I just have to educate them one class at a time. :)

"Hey Juan! That crazy gringo is at it again in his back yard."

And now I have a weapon worthy of weilding while playing White Zombie full blast. That's always a hit with the neighbors. ;) (actually they play their meriachhi sp? music much louder me. But we all get along great so it's all good. :)
