The mailman? Oh, he was bent over his packages sorting through stuff, and when he turned to hop out of his truck, there I stood looming over him with this maniacal look on my face. I swear he let out a little squeal and toppled back into his truck. Tossed me my triangular box and took off like a bat out of he&&.

Pics coming soon, better than words anyway, big khuk in my hand and big grin on my face will say what needs to be said. I'd written a bunch, but after I went back and looked at it I deleted it. Damnedest thing about old sarges, sometimes when they drink beer they talk too dadgummed much.

Actually, the phenomenon is not limited to sarges - at least one old civilian has been known to succumb to sudsy loquacity

Here it is as promised, a pic of my new favorite khukuri. It's an 18" BGRS, and a dadgummed sweet specimen of a khuk. Got this odd maker's mark

In the pic it looks smaller than it is, something to do with that overgrown knucklehead that's holding it. It was a gift from a really good guy, undeserved, but not the least bit unappreciated.

Don't know for sure, never seen anything like it. Marking is on the left side of the blade ricasso, stylized flag of Nepal, horizontal, lower edge of flag pennants perpendicular to flag staff, no initials accompany maker's mark. What you reckon it is TO?
