I am almost convinced that these "uniforms" could lead to range safety issues. Just one freshly ejected cartrige in the wrong direction could result in a serious breach of concentration up and down the entire firing line.

Well I guess if they had a hot cartridge stuck in thier clothing, one would just have to grab then round the waist & spin them upside down as a sort of neccasary first aid action. & then apply a suitable salve.
