My AR.. so far

Hey TTD, It's a P220 :)

I just ordered my Fenix TK10 and will soon be ordering the light mount, pressure switch, and rails for the handguard :) (sorry if that eliminates the KISS theory for some of yall).

After the light setup, all I need is the Magpul BAD lever, Badger extended tac. latch, Magpul MS2, QD swivel for the rear, DD rail swivel attachment for the front, and the Eotech 512 and she'll be done. (of course that eotech wont be coming for a good long while). Then I'll go back to buying knives. :)

i have an eotech 512 collecting dust in the safe. i switched over to aimpoints now. i think it's still under warranty, gotta check the papers. i might sell it to you at a good deal if you're interested. let me think if i need another knife. haha. crap, a bad habit funding another bad habit.

That's awesome, man. I definitely want to pick one of those up some day. I was thinking of just posting the pic of the wanking smiley, but I can't seem to bring myself to do it, hah

i like the set up OP.. its very simple.. when the poo hits the fan you dont want to sit and think about things... point and shoot

Burris SpeedDot or AR223-for the money, they can't be beat. A quarter of the price of both Aimpoints and most Eotech models, and Burris is well known for their combat durability and outstanding optical quality.

Excellent! Ironic cause today I went to the bike shop to get some new foam inserts for my helmet and the guy said "how old is your helmet?" I said "probably 8 or 9 years" and he says "forget inserts, buy a new helmet. you need a new one every 3 years" Bummer.

i think that's a load of b.s. back when i was tracking my car i know they check the helmet's year (has to be fire retardant, full face, etc.) but for a bicycle helmet the only thing that could possibly deteriorate is the foam itself. unless it's been outside in the sun for years i doubt it has changed any.

i did notice the safety standard used to be snell but now it's "cpsc". i'm not an expert so better ask the bike guys about this and whether or not you truly need a helmet every 3 yrs.
