Meet Martin Henri Bouchard--Born 4/12/2010
Weight: 6 lbs. 15 oz.
Length: 20"
A shot with mom and dad!
I still haven't had the time to upload the photos we took (he was just released from the hospital today) so I had to borrow these ones that our families took.
Keeping this knife related, I cut his cord his a self-modified Buck Paklite Caper that the hospital staff was gracious enough to autoclave and keep on hand. Later I used my Cold Steel K5 Neck Knife and mini Epicurean cutting board (I keep them in my EDC bag as a mini food prep combo) to cut an apple up for the new mom. The hospital provided a celebratory dinner, and my lady needed her baked chicken to be cut up (they only gave her a butter knife!) so out came my Izula and it was rendered into bits in no time. My folks stopped by the next day (it was their second visit) with Reed's Ginger Beers and limes for a refreshing pick-me-up, and I cut up the limes with my Pocket Bushman. How's that for urban survival?
