Big congrat's brother! In a few short years, you'll have a woods-bumming buddy and when he can carry more weight, those young boys make great pack-mules for several blades to test:D I wish you and your wife the best!

It'll be this one--it's the closest thing still made to the Erickson Mora that was my first knife (which I'm lucky enough to still have!) This one is also child-sized! :D

Mine has a hollow metal pommel cap affixed with a recessed nut, curly birch handle, and a laminated blade. The sheath was similar only without the plastic insert, and it had metal reinforcements. Next to impossible to find those things on the 'net these days.

Quadruple congrat! April 12 is a blessed day. My older brother by four years was born on that day, I was born on that day and my second daughter was also born on that day! Welcome to the Club:)
