TRADED
Kind of a shot in the dark but here we go.
I have my Benchmade 625 Mini Skirmish up for trade today. This knife was a user by the previous owner. However, he sent the knife to Benchmade for service and they replaced the blade entirely. So the blade was 100% brand new when he sold the it to me, and I have never used or resharpened it since. Also the Ti handles had light carry marks and "snail-trails" as is common with titanium. But as soon as I got the knife I disassembled it and bead-blasted (fine glass beads) the handles. I re-lubed the knife with Finishline Flouro grease. The result is essentially a brand new knife. But there are a couple very small nicks or dings along the back of the handles, near the standoffs, that bead blasting could not remove. Also the lock is slightly sticky at times. A little graphite on the lockbar helps alleviate that. But other than that it's in perfect condition. It includes the box, papers, and baggy.
The street price for user Mini Skirmish nowadays is about the same for a brand new Spyderco Southard. Since this one has a new blade and freshly beadblasted handles I'd say it's more than a fair trade. I'm not interested in any other trades at the moment.
