My BK2 and a little elbow grease - UPDATED with scales and sheath

Marathonman came through and the new scales arrived today. I'll simply say that these scales have blown away all of my expectations and Marathonman is a top notch vendor and an absolute pleasure to do business with.

Now on to the specifics. I contacted Marathonman and told him that I wanted something special for this knife. He recommended using Desert Ironwood burl and boy was he right. As you can tell from the pictures I think these scales give this BK2 a unique invidual look that I absolutely love. I'm excited to finally have the entire package together. Enjoy the photos:

That looks freakin nice brother. He did a heck of a good job on those. Looks crazy good in Nick's awesome sheath too. Congrats.
 
That is a thing of beauty, just the whole dang thing is amazing, the shine the sheath and the scales too, fantastic tune up there man !
 
Thanks fella's. It was a lot of fun interacting with the fantastic folks that helped me make this piece mine (sheath actually made by Adam Cantrell of voyager leatherworks). Now, the only thing I'm not happy with is the black hardware. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some stainless hardware that will work and look good?
 
Devilpig posted a few days ago the sizes of the stainless hardware he found for his bk9 mod. Go to his profile and search his posts that's the best I can offer at this time
 
Stunning stuff all the way around redhat. Ya got me thinking I might take my two-tone polished BK2 all the way. It's an awesome look. Those scales are off the hook man! Just an outrageously awesome package.
