Gorgeous, Dan!

I didn't mention
see the placements of the screws, a little forethought, we were going to put Bolsters on front
and back but knew we wouldn't have time..so you might have guessed it now, when he gets back that's next,, :)

..will do Tommegow :)

nice piece Dan, i'm sure he'll get some nice use out of it too. you make one hell of a knife, and you sure know your 154cm. nice job again man. wish him a safe trip and safe time throughout his duty.

Really nice knife - has a very "classic" sort of feel, and the cable cutter is a neat idea. Hope your son's deployment is safe and successful:thumbup:

thanks guys :)
he called me last night, he's in a three day training / briefing and then on to the border.. 80 deg at 8:00 PM there when he called we got like 8-9 inches of snow :grumpy:
I wonder if they need some help from an old fart :D

great looking folder Dan. I hope for the safe return of your son.
Scott

hey Scott, if i can ask,,, where did you get your
atmosphere generating Oven?
is there one on line that I can see? TY

Dan, I got the furnace second hand. It's made by Johnson Gas and Appliance. To buy it new is about $4,000.00. Here's a link to the company and the furnace. It's similar to the one at the right, model 654 only mine is the pedestal model.

The parts are expensive also. I recently replaced four pilot tubes at 16 bucks a piece.

wow only 1800 deg that puts a damper on SS
haha that one is a lot different than the ones I use to use at 20 feet long.. I wish I could get some montel tubing at a reasonable price..the rest would be easy to build,,yeah the one we had was for high carbon also..:grumpy: :) TY
