My Brain Exploded...

If that happened to me, my brain would explode, and pants would be shat.

That is awesome.

It was close, but I can't afford to buy more pants. :D

I'll hope it's a sign of impending importance. ;)

Umm here's the million dollar question, who is Thomas?

Thomas of KAI USA.
He is either the Santa Claus of the knife world, or the knife devil depending on who you ask.
From where I sat, he always seemed pretty darned generous, and that was when I hadn't gotten a single free knife.
There were many giveaways during his time on Bladeforums, and many free knives--upgrades even--sent out to people who were not happy with how their Kershaw or Zero Tolerance purchase went.

Seems like a person I could camp with for a day or two without tearing my hair out.

Others may have their own opinions, but I can't hear any negativity over the sound of how awesome my new knife is. :D

Years ago he gave me a shallot in s110V. I think he is a good guy and I miss him on here. That being said, I understand why he is gone.

Slow as they've sold I'm not surprised they are giving them away now:D

In Canada here, Warriors and Wonders got about 10 of them, if I recall correctly.
They sold out in about a day...at $575.
I remember seeing the price and wishing I was rich; now I don't have to worry about that. :D

Now if I can convince the landlord I'm cool enough for free rent... ;)

Happy birthday! Watch out for the hair in that muffin, though. ;)

There's about a 50% chance I ate that hair.
Karma has to balance out, and it may have required me eating that hair to even out the equation from getting the knife.
Which I consider to be fair enough. :)

Sweet Christmas, Stabby! I don't wanna know what you had to do for that knife... lol!

Very knice! Congrats and enjoy!:cool:

Thomas is a great guy, sorely missed. Driven out by a bunch of neanderthals an we're all worse off as a result.

There was literally more negativity surrounding a grind clarification on the bladeforums Skyline than CRKT's false advertising of S30V.

the more i think about it........

send it back and demand Thomas has "stabman" engraved on the blade for ya.;)

more bad jokes aside.......its pretty darn awesome of Thomas, even more awesome is you use it instead of turning it into a safe queen.

Figure I can pay to get that engraved if I end up wanting to. :D

For me, the joy of knives lies in using them.
Now sure, there are some I choose over others for certain tasks (I sure won't be prying boards apart with the tip on this one ), but I try to rotate through them all so they all get some attention. :)

Wow!!! That's pretty amazing! Congrats, and happy bday! :D

Too bad I can't remember my password for that other forum where the Kershaw folks hang out (and no longer have access to the e-mail I used to set it up). :(
