** MY BTTT PROBLEM **

Big Tex, it sure as heck doesn't make you the expert. What it does seem to make you is the guy who thinks he has the right to decide who can express their opinion on this forum. Because I have not sold many knives on this forum gives me no less of a right to my opinion than you have to yours.

You of course have the right to your opinion as well. I do think however, it could have been stated in a less confrontational manner.

Ok guys, I was kinda kidding. Maybe I should have used a smilie. But in a way, I wasn't. I sure didn't name names tho. I guess the bottom line is-if you don't own a car and have a drivers license-I don't want you setting the speed limit for me. If one doesn't buy/sell knives on the forum-then they shouldn't gripe about other peoples bttt's. Another example is when someone starts discussing how to pay for this forum and guys that never buy and sell will recommend that a fee be established for buying/selling knives. If these examples fit-then so be it. That's my rant for the day.

B.T.T.T i have no problem with it i can still see all the knives that all for sale if there on the 1st or 5th page. i check them all some times we all need to push a knife or make a trade so we can keep it going right ??? sales have been knida slow the last month or so i say lets give everyone a chance to sellwhat thay have B.T.T.T

I supported and PAID FOR this forum when it was pay-as-you-go. Bottom line. If you go BTTT more than once every 24 hours, you WILL piss of a lot of people who will not purchase anything you offer. BTW, sales always slow down before the Blade Show. People are trying to free up money so they can buy a lot there. Right now it is a buyers market. If you are not going to Blade,this is a time to make hay.

I'm a brand new user and didn't even know what BTTT was until this post. I appreciate all the comments on BTTT and "sold" etiquette.

Before I started posting I went through all the FAQ's so I wouldn't seem too much like a "newbie". However, there is nothing on BTTT there. The moderators should add this info so new users don't addd to the problem and create a bad rep for themselves without even knowing it.

Hi Malcolm... Thank you for replying to my post about BTTT's. I would also like to wecome you to the forum.

When you BTTT, or just reply to anyone's post, it will bring that post to the top of the first page. It becomes a problem when there is no consideration towards your fellow formites. They are trying to sell their knives also, and would like to have the same chance as the person that is BTTTing every couple of hours. You can go back, and see some of those offenders witout me saying who some of them are.

One thing I am most pissed off about, and I posted this before, is the multiple single thread sales. C'mon people!!! What is wrong with using links to the photos or listing multiple sales in one post?!!!

I have put knives up for sale only to come back to it an hour later and find it on page 6 after someone posts these ridiculous single threads for 8 knives!!!! That in my book is B$^#*$*@!!! I guess they think they are the only ones selling knives. I for one would rather click on a link and see and read about the knives that are for sale on one page than click on 8 DIFFERENT THREADS!!!!

Have to agree with ya on that one. I just got home from work and checked the FS/T Forum and 14 of the first 20 listings are from 2 sellers with all single knife posts and BTTT's
