Ok So I am shopping I have to add one more EDC but I don't want to break my budget.

a few conditions

No Gerber I gave the Decree a chance.
No Liner locks (lock back like Spyderco is ok)

and thats it smaller the better for EDC

Delica or Benchmade Mini Griptilian (just a few dollars above your limit).

With a bit of Google-Fu the Spyderco Native 5 Lightweight can be had for about $70 on the nose. Another option would be the Cold Steel Hold Out 3 in XHP that goes for around $65-70.

Spyderco Native 5 Lightweight. Fantastic knife, can't beat it for the price on a USA made piece!

Opinel?

Stay above a 6 and they have a ring lock. Both stainless and carbon take Fantastic edges, and can whittle hair from the box after 2 mins of touching a stone/strop.

Spyderco Delica all the way.!** I carry one clipped in my left pocket 24/7 and for what I need it for it just seemed like
I did not need to look any farther.* Carried a bunch in the past from $35 Knives to $425 Knives but once you find the one that is all it takes.^^

Cold Steel Code4 in xhp Steel.
A full half inch shorter then the the decree
Great Steel
Just a couple bucks over budget
Worth every penny!

Spyderco Centofante in vg10

CRKT Hootenany or Swindle
Kershaw Scrambler, Cryo II, Shallot, or Knockout

I don't have an answer for you yet but I find the delica tip to delic...ate. I have wrecked two delica and two para 2 tips, call me a knuckle dragger, I use my knives... Russ

With all of your parameters in mind..Cold Steel mini lawman with xhp if you want the strongest small edc knife in your price range. Otherwise a delica vg10 or salt1 with H1 steel.

The Cold Steels if they're really in that budget. With XHP? You bet.

The tips will be stronger than the para2 and deli as well.
