My Bushwacker came in...

I think the only way you could make the buswacker better is to give it magnum handles and a bama clay blade  :D

liu, how do you like the color combo that you chose, it looks sweet, do you like the ergo of the scales, now that you have that combination, would you have chose another?

thanks man!!

You can't go wrong with black but I think the G10 ones would look hot! But lets face if, if we were all rich, we would get one in ever color combination but this will do. I have a LE coming, so that's going to be a nice one too :)

Thanks for the photos Liu Kang, very nice. Can't wait to get mine. I think Busse Combat hit it out of the park with this one.

Nice pics!

Thanks Dan.

I thought they were all considered magnums on all Bushwackers?

Am I remembering wrong?

Maybe they are considered magnums, but they sure dont LOOK very magnum to me, compared to the other battle mistresses in LK's photo.

They do kind of have the magnum "flare" for lack of a better word but they do look smaller than the fusion handle magnums. That could also be due to the thinness of the Bushwacker blade. I'll never know until one is in my hands I guess.

they look sort of like mini-magnums (something akin to jumbo-shrimp...)

maybe a tweener of sorts, not as flat as true standard slabs, but not like ASH Magnums...

Jerry calls them "Battle Rattle" magnum handles. They look smooth enough to not cause hot spots when chopping. I can't wait to try mine out. Maybe it will come in by Friday or Saturday.

thanks liu, answered my question, i will select the black on black, probably, unless they do a bama clay sometime and then mustardman can buy he and i both one.

that bama clay is growing on me a little...

Nice! Congratulations!

I'm getting more and more anxious to get my LE! :D

I really like that black finish. That might be the one I go with when I can grab a CG.

My thoughts exactly!:cool::thumbup:

I actually got around to using some of the new, rougher bama clay last weekend, and it seemed to wear OK. Although that was just batoning the AD through some little sticks to make kindling - we'll see how it works on a chopper, once Skunk starts selling the Bama Clay SAR8's :D :D :D

I guess they can be considered mags since they aren't really flat like the standards but the handles on the NMFBM just makes them look tiny. The handle is much smaller but it kinds goes with the knife. I think if they are much bigger and thicker, it would throw off the weight and balance of the knife.

Thanks for the pictures guys! I havent ordered mine yet as I wanted to see some color combos first. I am pretty stuck on that bama clay with black G-10 (if only bama clay were an option ;) ). figure that'll stand out right nice.
