My Bushwacker came in...

Nice color combo LK, I picked the same! Thanks for posting the pics, I can't wait to get mine in hand. . .

Nice pics, thanks.

My Tanker gray with black micarta is en route.

It's funny that RAT Cutlery will be releasing a knife at SHOT with essentially identical measurements as the BWM.

true but they did have the RTAKII out a long time ago under Ontario. They are into the thin blades over there. Jeff already admitted the junglas would not stand up to the BWM toughness wise. Those guys are cool dudes

The question is: Are you gonna pull the trigger?!

Mine is possibly waiting for me at home right now. Not sure because, like usual USPS tracking isn't working right.

It'll be there in the next day or so, though, so tracking doesn't matter. All that matters is that sweet, sweet, THINFI.

Even if it's the wrong color :grumpy: :p

Great pics, thanks for going the extra mile for us that have not received ours yet.

I got the same combo.....cant wait.

Cheers!

I have the same color coming in. Speaking of measurements, I'm checking out all my BIG Cordura sheaths. How wide is the blade? If it's under 2", I may even have leather to fit it. :D

It's not a Busse-specific thing... I am CURSED when it comes to shipping companies. Deliveries to the wrong house, packages routed to the wrong state, packages that arrive crushed and maimed beyond recognition. By comparison, the packages I've gotten from Ohio have been downright EASY... it's all those other shipping-related horror stories that have made me paranoid about any kind of delivery.

It's SO not about you guys, just the USPS. They are a pain in the butt. I live in a not-so-great neighborhood, so I'm always worried when the stupid shipping companies screw up my tracking info, because they ALWAYS leave expensive packages out in plain view, even though there are places where they could hide them a bit. If I know a package is there, I can run home on my lunch break, or ask someone to stop by the house and grab the package. If I don't, who knows what sleazebag will end up helping himself to a brand new BWBM....

Just last week, someone two doors down from me had her car stolen, in the middle of the day, from right in front of her house.

Have I mentioned I'm applying for new jobs and trying to move?

So yeah, those Bushwacker Mistresses sure do look cool, don't they? :p

Oh, I missed that comment...was it in that same thread? Properly heat treated 1095 is pretty good stuff, and costs a lot less than INFI.

I am not sure, I was reading one of the threads regarding machetes and such and he commented that there is no way their 1095 would match up in toughness to INFI, I respect knife makers who talk up other knife makers products. Jeff will be the first to tell you there are other blades that are better. Their 1095 is top notch, for the price it is hard to beat and I will own both the BWM and the RAT JUNGLAS and for my purposes I doubt very seriously that I will be able to tell the difference.

Here is the picts of my Bushwacker Mistress Combat Grade Black Canvas Black Blade. It's light and thin like it's supposed to be, but great balance. Great knife, get a couple if you haven't already. I would have loved to have gotting one with the two color G10.
Thanks to everyone at Busse!

Nice Man. :D
