My digits dont like flippers

I prefer flippers. I've never been cut opening/closing one. I close them like I do with a slipjoint - two hands, one holds the knife horizontal, blade up; the thumb on that hand releases the linerlock/framelock then once it just clears the lock I move my thumb out of the way and close the blade with the other hand. Other than that, I hold it point down at my side, release the lock with thumb and close the blade against the side of my leg/hip. As I said, never been cut either way.

That's the only con about the zt 0470 I just bought. Flipper tab is too small so it doesnt catch my finger before the actual blade closes on it

My favorite zt! Just let it fall on your fingernail first. Mines a guillotine when I disengage it. It has bit me a few times.
