My EDC Rotation is quite deep, but if I had to list the Top 7 of my EDC collection based on pocket time and my preferences as of today, it would be the following:

(1) Kershaw Bel Air - Clip Point, Micarta
(2) Kizer Drop Bear - Elmax, Fatcarbon
(3) Benchmade Mini Barrage
(4) Spyderco Native 5 - Magnacut, serrated
(5) Vosteed Nightshade - Elmax, Copper
(6) ESEE Izula - S35VN
(7) Cold Steel American Lawman - S35VN

My EDC preferences change from time to time, but these are my top daily options as of today. I'm going to try to get some pics up soon when I have more time to play!

My rotations have always been random as the knives sort of roll around in a dresser
Currently as it stands my day job as a driver sees little to no knife use and when I get home to an apartment, its pretty much the same deal so im not as concerned with what I take out on a daily, because likely it won't be used (much) 😅

An EDC rotation?

I guess that "Every Day Carry" means different things to many people. I have a few knives, Buck 110, Spiderco (something), a Schrade fixed blade and a CRKT M18 (it's a flipper) . T . . ..but none of them come with me on most days. Oh, here are a couple of non-user collectables too but they never go out. What does is a Leatherman Wave Plus. That multitool comes with me whenever I put on my pants, along with keys and Wallet. I carry it literally each and every day.

That
is my EDC.

As a multitool; the Wave Plus is an excellent-choice, for handling most EDC challenges. The replaceable jaws were one of Leatherman's best innovations, and upgrades to the pliers.

What you said comes off as pedantic. What's the fun owning a bunch of knives if you're not gonna carry them? I carry a knife every day. What knife that is just happens to change based on my whims. I feel like there's no reason to argue such semantics on an enthusiast forum.

It was just a topic of discussion that I thought might be interesting, but I'm sure it does not apply to everyone.

I agree with you. I have a very large collection of knives, but I'm not going to just put them in a safe or somewhere to collect dust. That is definitely not for me.

Edc can be broad or specific. I edc a knife etc.

Work GB2
Off work
Hogue Ritter magnacut with orange scales from an older ritter
Benchmade Bailout M4
Hogue Deka MC
GB2
Sebenza MC if im dressed up
Manix Salt if im in the water.

If there were a “knife psychologists” they would commit me to a recovery center. My edc is all over the map! 🤣. I have been carrying a Benchmade Adira large since it’s supposed to be water rated and it’s summer. My toxic mailman swear is getting to it though.

I gave up on the strict term of "everyday carry" meaning ONE specific knife. Unlike to rotate and I have a lot of different knives to choose. All of them are reliable. Some are dressy, some are tough, so are just cool. I stopped trying to justify and decided that EDC to me means carrying a knife or some sort.

Most days? A Para 3 in Cruwear. The last week I have been carrying a SHF because I felt like it. I was fishing around in my desk at work today and came across my Microtech Amphibian, and that seems like a fine knife that will cut stuff for the weekend.

I just have too many knives that I like to limit myself.

The title is a bit of a misnomer. It can't be an "every day carry" if it's constantly changing. That said, how people choose when/what they leave the house with is their own business and I'm happy to see photos of it, regardless of their carry frequency

I know the temptation to debate semantics on this forum, but any reasonable knife enthusiast should be able to ascertain the nature of this post with little difficulty.
