My experience at Blade show

We had somewhat similar issues with every Uber driver we had. It seemed like every one, it was their first day on the job, so we took all these roundabout ways, so that the trips were longer than they should have been. Not great.

Lol. I drove from Fort Worth, TX. Could have been their somewhat confusing roads. I had never seen stop lights on a highway before....

Surprised there are not more pics of the Medford area. I think they won best booth babes. Pretty sure the redhead almost caused my oldest son to walk into stuff.

To be honest man I wasn’t digging the lady in skimpy outfits angle. I love going to hooters and the like but it just kind of cheapened it for me.

I was surprised to see him walking with a cane, but he didn't exactly strike me as frail. You guys must have missed him when he was doing espada y daga sparring demos with a Cold Steel employee half his age throughout the show. Age may be riding him, but he's still bucking underneath that saddle!

Now Bob Terzuola, on the other hand, he looked poorly to me--hopefully simply because it had been a number of years since I'd seen him. I was glad to discover that he made the show, though, as one dealer told me that he'd said he was getting too old to attend. I hope that Mr. Terzuola saw (with deserved pride) all of the knives in that arena that bore his name and/or design influence. There were many, including at least two being released this year alone.

Maybe he was promoting the cane and not necessarily needed it to get around.

my first experience was awesome. I feel like I walked around the room 10 times and STILL missed stuff. My first stop, and the busiest booth of the show, was Microtech. After that I made my way around the show to check everything out. I came home with 2 Microtechs and a Ratworx folder, and an O light. It was very last minute for me..... so I didn’t have much of a plan aside from my first booth visit. Next year I plan to map out some of the show specials and plan accordingly. Ratworx did it right.... ALL of their knives were discounted for the show where a lot of companies only had limited numbers of discounted items. I would have found the heretic booth for their otf special if i had known. Overall, great show!!!!

Popsickle - Every show I make a list of knives I have to check out. And every year I still end up missing a couple somehow.

And those little rechargeable Olights were a hot item. By the time I found out about them they were sold out.

I enjoyed the show. As always there was way too much to take in. Also, perhaps I'm getting old and crochety. All the guys wandering about flipping (and dropping) their butterfly knives everywhere struck me as being irresponsible and pretty dangerous.
