Hello friends,
I recently purchased 2 SB folders. A Spartan Pallas and a Harsey folder. I love them both very much. The Pallas is as if the Hogue ex01 and the Paramilitary had a beautiful child. The action is indescribably smooth. Both the flipper and the thumb studs perform beautifully. I cannot put into words how blown away I was when I got it. I am shocked it's not talked about constantly. I then purchased a SB Harsey folder. I own a good amount of knives from reputable companies. The fit and finish on this knife are on par with my old Sebenza. It is a beast of a knife but rides comfortably in the pocket. Both of these knives are meant to be used and I intend on putting them through the ringer.
Now on to the customer service. I called in about the centering favoring the left. When I called in I was shocked that Curtis Iovito answered the phone. We talked about the Pallas and how much I like it, talked about trucks, and just shot the breeze for a little under an hour. The man is incredibly humble. It was if I was talking to a friend I hadn't spoken to. He told me they have a 1 day turn around time and to send it in. I did. It was turned around in a day as promised and shipped back to me. The whole process took about a week. When I opened the box it had the knife with perfect centering, a catalog, and some SB swag. I have to say this was the best customer service I had ever experience. Curtis is a very down to earth and inviting man. I was very taken back by his friendliness and willingness to answer my questions. I didn't feel as if he was trying to get off the phone once. I am now a Spartan Blades fan and will be a customer for life. They also send a check in the mail to reimburse for shipping costs.
I am incredibly blown away by Spartan Blades' products but most of all customer service. I am in no way compensated or asked to write this experience review. If you are thinking about pulling the trigger on a SB product do yourself a favor and pull it!!
Respectfully,
Anthony Castorena
