My experiences with Buck Warranty Service (with pics and vids)

Buck 110, the liner lock is brand new yet it engages way too far to the right, it looks like it has about 20 years of wear on it. The machining is so rough it looks like it was done by someone using a grinder. Compare it to others and you'll see what I mean.

I am a Buck fan. I'm just not so fanatic as to bury my head in the sand when I see a badly fitted one, just because it has the name Buck stamped on it.

A replacement should come back almost immediately because they didn't have to work on it.

Maybe they just open the boxes on a first-come first-served basis?

Why not open everything and put them into two groups--those that will be replaced and those that will be repaired?

Then the replacements could come back much faster.

I'm glad Buck is busy and thriving, though. That's good news.

Glad your replacement turned out so good for you, and I hope they can figure a way to do replacements faster. That would make for happier customers.

the man did his testing on the lock
it is a test that he was sastified that the knife was safe
looks some times are deciveing in photos
Joe or some one likely selected the replacement
bassed on how solid it felt / worked and not looks
some times the best working is not the best looking
as to stating that it is good of the warenty cause ...
well then that was picking his knife apart and you said it was based on looks
several others look at it and could not see any thing wrong
yet two of youal keep at it on his knife on looks only
you did not ask him if it felt stronger or felt like it locked up great
ie walked and talked
jest looks to me and comments of needing the warenty
so if it had been a safty issue you would have posted questions he needed to ask on the knife and stated that if he answered X or Y then he needed to rethink things on sending it back
no smart a... remarks on needing the warenty were nessary
