My Father...

My thoughts are every bit with you.

If you don't know my saga of the past year and a half, I moved to Texas to help take care of my terminally ill father (brain cancer) and see him off.

We lost him a year ago on the 23 of this month.

If you need anyone to talk to about it I'm here. Day or night, just e-mail me.

Jeff --

Best wishes for you and your father. Smoke and prayers sent from Wyoming.

Prayers for you and your father.
Im here in NC too so if you need anything... give me a shout.
Im assuming your either around Duke/Durham or Baptist/Winston Salem.
They are both within driving distance.
Take care friend.

Thanks everyone, this helps tremendously.
Tomorrow is going to be a rough day.

His surgery will be done at Moses Cone in Greensboro.

we wish you guys well. i live about 30 mins or less from there.

I know that I don't do alot of posting here, but
I do check it daily.
Right now I'm in N.C. taking care of my Father.
He is 84, and facing 3 surgeries. He was diognosed
with 2 very large aneurysms (5cm). The first surgery
is Thursday, then 6 weeks later the second, and 6
more weeks the third. I know seniors have a hard
time with aneshesia, so I'm hoping and praying that
He can tough it out. If one of the aneurysms burst,
He's done. The only alternative was a old-fashion
surgery. A 10-12 inch incision and could take 5 hours.
The surgeon said that Dad wouldn't be able to handle
this.
So, basically I've put my life on hold for my Father, and
could use a few extra prayers for Him.

When this is all over I'd love to meet you guys, maybe
have a cold one or two.

Take care

-Jeff

Jeff, I have been through that with my father as well many years ago and he did fine. Best wishes to your father on a speedy recovery as well.

Anyone heard anything? Please keep us posted when you do.
