I have over a hundred knives and at least 25 SAKs in my collection but the ones that are my favorite would be my Leatherman Wave, SAK OHT, SAK Farmer, Rat3, Buck 119, and Pilot survival knife. Oh and one more that is hardly ever talked about on the forums but to me deserves some respect is my Buck Omni Hunter 12pt. folder. I love these knives and they are usually one or two of them I have on me in the woods or just for EDC. What is some of your favorites?

Becker C/U 7, Rat 3, SAK Soldier and Farmer, Benchmade 710 and Rant

I always go back to these time and again.

I do the same think msiley. Mostly because of the durability and comfort of them. There just really good knives that I can depend my life on.

Victorinox Swisstool,Fallkniven F1,Mora 760,Hi imports khukuris. I generally believe in a trio approach-swisstool,760,and khukuri. It may not work for everyone, but I like it.

Vic. Swiss Tool, Mora 780, RAT Izula/RC-3 (or anything else), CS Bushman/Pocket Bushman, Opinel No. 8 carbon, anything Condor...I have lots of favorites!

I like my SAK Farmer, CRK Shadow III or IV, and my Greco Hatch-it.

Though I would not feel hampered with just my Sebenza.

Kellam Puukko and one of my Wetterlings axes, depends on the season which size of axe I'll carry.

I have really been liking my RAT Izula lately. It's great to have a small, unobtrusive fixed blade that can handle most any task you throw at it every day. There are other knives I'd probably prefer to have on me during a survival situation, but I would probably not feel undergunned with this one.

I've had a buck 119 for a while. It is a great knife and I always appreciated the quality of Buck's 420HC. In fact, it has many quality similar to carbon steels (ease of sharpening) with the bonus of stainless. However, since I started collecting more bushcrafty knives, my taste has changed and my 119 comes out with me less. The guard and swedge don't appeal to me as much now. However, I'm not getting rid of my 119.

As the OP indicated survival knife in the thread, then my thinking tends towards somewhat thicker more robust blades. The two that comes to mind in my collection as real survival blades are the rat cutlery RC-4 and RC-6.

Actually in Buck's defense, the one knife that I actually take out on my overseas' trips as a survival knife is the little Diamondback guide. It is small enough to be sheeple friendly, never gets any notice in customs (safely placed in a plastic container in check-in luggage) and the stainless lets me use it without worrying about corrosion.

Damn hard to just name a few !!!!

Recent ones I carry a lot are my TOPS Tracker, JK Hiker and my Swampwarden.....alll very different blades but all very reliable !

Fallkniven F1, SAK Farmer and OH Trekker, Buck 501.

Formerly, Buck 110 and 119, USAF pilot survival knife.

I always EDC a Leatherman Charge TTi, a RAT RC-4SE, and a RAT Model 1 folder.

The knife I've used the most outdoors over the past couple of years has been my Busse Gamewarden (orange G10). That little bugger has been through the ringer, and shows it. But it still works as good as new. It's one tough little knife!

I always EDC a Sebenza, so if I were ever in a survival situation, I would have it. But I've never put either of my Sebenzas through their paces. I always have something less fancy around that I'd rather beat on. I'm sure the Sebenzas could take it, I just don't have the heart to abuse them yet. I tend to carry a lot of knives around- to excess at times. So I tend to spread my use around- I like to play with different ones.

Just for kicks, here is a picture of my two favorite "survival" knives. Forgot I had this.

Izula and Breeden wharncliffe

J.P. Peltonen's M95 Sissipuukko - survival knife
Buck 119 - all round
Buck 110 - EDC
Victorinox Soldier - pocket knife
Tramontina 14'' convexed machete - big chopper
Hultafors (don't know the exact model) - working knife, carbon steel

These're mine :)

My favorite FB knife, or at least the one I carry the most is my Busse Model-T Street (a thinner bladed version of the regular Meaner Street). It's comfortable to handle and carry. It's tough as hell. And it works great for every chore I throw at it without being big and in your face like a lot of Busses.
