My favorite survival knives

+1 on the Bravo-1; it's definitely my favorite survival knife . The RAT RC4 and Fallkniven F1 are also up there, and I suspect my in-the-works NWA forum knife will be up there too when I get it...might even surpass the Bravo-1....

Bravo 1 (specially the SS CPM154 for all kinds of weather)
Fallkniven F1 and H1
Busse SAR-5
Gerber Prodigy for a budget model that performs well

I'm a 3 knife combo kind of guy. Normally have a Folder with a 3" to 4" blade for basic cutting (SOG Flash II or X42 Auto Clip, SpyderCo Centerfonta III, Kabar Mule ), a 5"+ fixed blade for when you need something longer (Western L36, SOG Seal Revolver, EK Night Fighter, HI Kumar Karda) and a larger fixed blade mostly for chopping and cutting large stuff (BK9, SOG Tigershark, HI Khukuri).

My new Izula and BK11 will probably be used as backup knives or a replacement for the folders. Am also thinking of carrying a hawk inplace of the medium sized knife at times.

I figure which ever blades I have on me when I need to survive will be my survival knives so I always plan accordingly. All the knives I've listed are ones I know I can depend on.
