My first Case knife, one question?

And one other thing about Case - you can bet money that it will come dull as a butter knife from the factory. Haven't seen one in 35 years that was even reasonably sharp out of the box.

I have purchased 14 new Case knives over the years. One came in not very sharp. The other 13 came very sharp.

A few months ago I purchased a couple SodBuster Jrs.
They all were razor sharp out of the box with excellent fit and finish!

If you have never used a Case SodBuster, I recommend 'em. Sweet slippies!

Well don't bother emailing Case's customer service department because they never replied.

However, when I emailed their repair center, I got an immediate response. :thumbup:

I sent the knife back today still in new/unused condition to have them fix the blade centering and hopefully replace or fix the scratched blades.

We'll see what happens.

Update: I received the knife back today and it's perfect.:thumbup:

Looks like the repair center fixed the blade rub issue and polished out any scratches on the blade.

The whole process took 3 weeks and ofcourse they didn't charge a dime.
