CRKT My first CRKT product seems perfectly fine . Happy surprise !

Been tempted recently by the carnufex, but held back by their rep and what I now perceive to be a bit high price for 8cr. Plenty of companies using better steel at that price point (50 ish). Might have to flip a coin.

I wasn't going to come in on this one as i only own one crkt knife.
I too bought a crawford kasper because i liked the look of it .
Tan scales with black blade , maybe not everyones thing but i like it .
Turns out my example is well finished ,nicely centred and has a good lock up .
Its been plenty decent and holds an edge pretty well for a £25 knife .
Had it for 2-3 years .

Don't forget, Pat Crawford's an excellent designer :) His budget knife designs are some the best. The AG Russell One Hand Knife is actually his design.

A lot of great designers have CRKT models and they keep getting more. My Onion Ti Eros is a gem, great, well executed knife, equal in many fit/finish aspects to CRK.

I entirely agree with this much . :)

But it's really too bad that they rarely do justice to those innovative designs in the actual products produced . There's the rub ! :(
