Update. True to his word, my knife is ready after 4 years. He sent me a picture, which I will post as soon as he gives me permission. I'll post pictures when it is in my hands.
Hey at least hes taking orders, Les George has been one of my favorite custom makers since I started collecting and after passing up a chance to buy one of his folders from a custom shop about 2 years ago (which I dont think was a bad decision because I ended up with a Allen Elishewitz Tank Prototype that fricking amazing instead)
I have only managed to get my hands on one knife from Mr. George -- luckily for me allthough at the time I was bummed that it was a fixed blade I am now really really glad I was able to get the one I did because since his folders are what was getting the best response try finding a Les George fixed blade much less one thats made from CPM-154 with a gorgeous stonewashed finished 4 inch blade with a jigged carbon fiber handle over a full tang, which even though it is not serialized has been confirmed by him to be a one of a kind knife. So in hindsight I am very glad I missed the folder and picked up something the likes of which he may never make again!
