Sorry for the loss of Coco and understand as I've been there and know how tough it is. !
Hope you get to see her again someday !
Hope I get to see my old friends someday too.

Sag.

They show us the meaning of true love and how to be happy with just a full tummy and companionship. My thoughts are with you.

superduty truck,

My condolences. Like many others here, I too have gone through this. Never easy, never easy.

Best wishes,
Mike

I know too well many of the feelings you have. In time I hope that the sadness is replaced by the realization of being blessed to have each animal that has been a part of your life in your life.

Being with your dog in those last moments was hard, but I think it was the best for her to have you there holding her.

I know that pain all too well. Be proud of the fact that you were a good "master" to your dog and gave him good care and love. Remember your dog forever. Eventually the worst of the pain will be replaced by the happy memories.

always hard. i like dogs more than most people, and it's rough to say "good dog" that last time.

I'm really sorry. Seems this is happening a lot around where I live.

I had the coolest lab when I was growing up. She was awesome.

Well my fellow knife nuts, on a note of good news my wife friend at her work has a couple of beagle pups for sale. One is a female, I told my wife I don't know, it too soon for me. But I sure once I look into the puppy's eye I will melt and give in. I am hoping Corky will take a shine to the pup. She is a Queenland mix and herding dog, she raise my mother's dog a red nose stafford terrier, and was a great mom. Well I planning on see this pup this weekend and will keep all of you updated, again thank you for your notes it does help.

The first dog that I had to put down was a Chessy that I got just after I got out of high school. She was 10 when she got cancer and the vet said there wasn't anything he could do.That was 15 years ago and it still bothers me to write this. There have been quite a few others but she was the best, you did a good thing and I send my condolences.

It's not too soon...Trust me. That puppy will help to fill the void, and maybe, with any luck, you'll see some of Coco in her. It's just amazing what the look in an animal's eyes can tell you.

I am so sorry for the loss of your furry friend!! My heart goes out to you!! She WILL always be with you.

Our pets show us a finer type of companionship than we often show each other. Having a loyal dog, cat WHATEVER is a noble experience, and losing a comrade is a real blow. But take a look at that Beagle pup, he too wants to share his life with people who CARE.

Aaahh she cute!! seven weeks old and already stole my heart:thumbup:

Wife and I are thinking of Reese or Reeses as a name, any other ideas on names? I know my follow freinds in this forum can come up with some other great names. We're getting her on Sunday.

I had a stray Beagle back when I was in grade school. Called him 'Poochie' - 'Pooch' for short. I don't recommend that as a name for your sweetie! ;)

So sorry to hear that; we've lost three in the last five years. Our condolences - and we'll raise a glass to your friend tonight.
