My first dog was put down today

Wife is thinking Reese like in Reese's cup. I like to add a s to the end of Reese. Another idea, was watching her behavior for a few days and see what comes up. Tomorrow we are picking her up, I excited like a kid on Christmas morning!
 
So sorry, i had my one put down about 3 mo ago, so sad, i've had alot of dogs, and its just so hard to say goodbye, but another dog always helps, even if you don't think so, if you can;t go get a doggie, get someone to get one for you, thats what i had to do, i couldn't even think of getting another dog, until someone brought one home, and now that dog has just gone, but i still have my other 2, so it helps., from reading i think you found a dog already.

Sorry to hear of your loss. It is easy to become attached to our pets, perhaps because the kind and gentle approach earns you love from animals - not so with people.
 
How's the new hound coming along? Your late dog was a very nice looking friend.
 
She is great still needs to be potty trained. Yesterday she looked right at me and let the load right on the carpet before I could move her outside. Every morning at 4 she wakes me to go outside and to feed her. I am trying to get her to do it 30 min later when I normal get up. Corky the black and white dog has taken the mom role and loves to play with her. It is fun and very entertaining to watch. Reese is up to 8lbs and growing. I think she reach the average size of a 13 inch Beagle. Coco is back home I have her ashes on my dresser. I know some think that is crazy but when I hit bottom she was there when no one else was. I still miss her but then Reese reminds me that she satting or laying near me.
 
Sorry to hear that. I think your pal had a good life with you. Just remember that. Maybe another dog would like a best friend.
