My first Em

Roger that, thanks for opinion. From what I have seen on youtube and other review sites though, more than 'a few k'bits' had one side of steel liner. The all Ti '12 would be amazing I'm sure.

i've never actually seen one that wasnt a k'bit and while a few others possibly had them they are not common at all irregardless of what youtube or anyone else says, on the emrson forum a guy posted wanting to know if anyone had one with the steel and IIRC the only ones to post were k'bit owners and darned few of them,

FWIW there is nothing at all wrong with the steel liners either, i suppose they might be a few grams heavier, maybe, and could corrode if ya were around salt water, but other than that it really doesnt make any difference, i could see if they woulda had them on the lock side but they never were like that, that said i would prefer a ti liner unless i just wanted a steel liner one for a collection, and imho a few yrs from now they are uncommon enuff they will probably demand a premium, but if i wanted a particular one and could get a deal on a SS liner one i wouldnt worry about it.

also, on thre emerson forum ernie posted when he went back to ti and someone asked which ones had the SS liners, & IIRC he said he thought only k'bits but a few others might have had them, possibly.

Well, if you can come up with a link that would be great, certainly there may be little difference in overall locking, but when the price is factored in, it matters. Further, as the site had not been updated, and the videos and pictures plainly show the difference, I cannot agree that only a few K'bits have both liners, and that they will command a premium in the future. When I can get a straight answer, maybe from Emerson himself I will get the CQC-8, until then I will do some testing of the cqc-12 upon receiving it from knivestown.
