My first ESEE just shipped!!!!

Sorry it has taken so long! I had to drive around a show it off!!!!


I was so excited I almost giggles like a little girl... Ok maybe I did giggle, but that is beside the point!!!

I absolutely love the BH tension adjuster on the sheath.

The only thing I was worried about after reading the reviews was how big the handle was. It was perfect. I will stick some pigs and put her to work this week and keep you all updated!!!

looks good man. I am shipping mine to Edmonton Alberta, so I have a feeling those guys at customs are going to take there sweet time, ....... frick
 
The Izula II I mentioned before arrived and is put together really well. The bevels are remarkably even and pop hair above the skin.

I might just use it as is for a few days before I convex it.

I have many excellent knives from many brands with most costing more and being better in a "spec sheet lust" sort of way but this one has a good chance of really being used and not just fondled. It just seems more toolish and practical and not so much like a shiny man bauble.

i spent 5 years in the army working alongside PJs and CCT, still in but serving in a different capacity now.
 
That is awesome. We got to work with the 2/75th out of WA for a few weeks. You got a good group of guys there. Did you work with the 38th RQS?
 
honestly i don't think the squadron ever came up in conversation with any of the guys i personally worked with. you have to keep in mind that they were a lot cooler than we were, so we only ever had 1 or 2 attached with us during deployments and training excercises and such. we were usually too busy drooling over stories from HALO ops and admiring their beards and long hair and such, you know, the important stuff :D
