My first experience with DLT Trading

They had what I was looking for and while I had never done business with them before I was familiar with the name and figured it would be a good time to try another forum sponsored dealer.

My order arrived today, packed well, shipped fast, and they even included a very nicely done DLT Halloween 2020 decal.
That's my holiday, but this year with everything that's been going on I just wasn't feeling it and didn't decorate, so that decal really made my day.
In fact it has inspired me to hustle and actually decorate this year.

If ever they have something I want in the future I won't hesitate to buy from them again.


Now there is an unexpected DLT etch on the back of the blade that I would rather not have if I could, but I really don't mind it and I'm sure it'll grow on me.

Is the particular green color a DLT exclusive or something ?
To me that would explain the etch and why Bhq didn't have it.

From their website concerning the etch.

**Note: In order to secure another shipment of special colored Alox Cadets we were required to have DLT engraved on the knife. We chose the back of the blade as the best location to keep the engraving panel blank for custom engraving. At this time all Blue & Green cadets will ship with the DLT logo engraved on them, which comes directly from Victorinox that way.

I like the green but 3rd party logo on blades turn me off. Nothing against DLT I just like sterile blades.
 
Thank you for the good service and that sticker really inspired me to proceed with Halloween this year, I wasn't going to but that sticker changed my mind.
I hustled yesterday and got everything done, the knife came in quite handy throughout too.
 
I bought a few from them and the service is always very good. That etch should rub off with a metal polish if you want to try it.
 
DLT is typically the first place I check when I'm on the hunt for a knife. Great selection, great prices, great customer service.

I ordered an ironwood GEC #74 today at 10:51am and I had a shipping confirmation by 11:15am. Can't do much better than that!
 
Another good word for DLT : they ship lighting fast, and their customer service is top notch ! I now only order from them when I buy from the US.
