My first Kizer

Didn't Crucible confirm that Kizer is buying S35VN from them or something along those lines? That, combined with, I believe, a couple of people stating that it's similar to S35VN, or not worse, and the lack of complaints (Lots of people would probably be all over this if it didn't perform as well as S35VN.), and it seems very likely that they are indeed using the advertised steels for these knives.

They confirmed they're buying crucible steel however how much, which one is not known.

Here you guys go. Edge retention will be done at a later time. The edge while put coarse was buffed at the factory. I am afraid it's too fine of an edge to do an appropriate test on manila rope. Next week I will reprofile or resharpen it to an suitable edge finish next week.

What do you mean, exactly? That it might chip, or that it needs to be coarser to efficiently cut rope?

Needs coarse edge to cut rope efficiently. I've tried to do edge retention tests before using highly polished edges, it doesn't work out well because it requires more force than slicing so you end up preferring the edge closer to the handle to help with leverage.
