My First Knife

The WM Native is a knife everyone should own. The only reason not to would be that you refuse to give Squal-Mart any of your money. I know people who hold this conviction, and I support them completely. It's something I fight with myself over from time-to-time. I do a lot more shopping at Target than I used to, but they don't stock any Spyders. So I caved.

When in doubt, I always try to support my conscience. However, this has been made easy for me, as none of my area Walmarts carry Natives. But for only a few dollars more, they can be bought on-line, neatly sidestepping the issue. Unfortunately, that plops you squarely into the issue of supporting local knife dealers , who sell the Native for $65 around here. As a result, I have yet to own a Native .
