Ignorant, stereotyped characterizations of other countries and cultures are not acceptable here. That's not a matter of opinion in a discussion forum. It's a potential violation of a serious rule, against bigotry.
I use a large font when I am speaking formally as a moderator -- so you will pay attention, not toss off another smartguy remark.
So you're French. Born there, speak the language? You're new here, you don't know everything yet. We don't appreciate trolls, people who toss off unnecessary remarks to stir up dissension.
I don't care where you or your family are from. I will not tolerate anything that leads to bashing any nation or people.
I don't think prying is in order. The blades are real thin, and I've read that the lock rings can pop off with enough force.
