My first RWL34 project.

HT'ed!!! :)
Well, 15 min on 800C, than up to 1055C for 40 min and quenched in oil. After that tempering on 200 Deg for 2 hrs. Should I make second temper for 2 hrs, What you do think. RWL34 datasheet says 1 temper - 2 hrs. Crusible steel datasheet on CPM154 says temper twice for 2 hrs.

Wow, it looks great. I think you have nothing to worry now. Can't wait the finished knife...

I would temper it for the second time. I guess 200 is a little low for this type of knife. I'd go for 220 C (59-58 RC)...

Temper should be 2+2 hours as this is a fairly complex alloy. The choice is yours for tempering temperature , lowewr for more corrosion resistance , higher for more toughness..

Thanks, Guys. I will go for 220C for the second temper. :)
That stuff really polishes very well, but I am thinking of 800 sandpaper hand rub.

Just beautiful. I loved the handle, fit and finish. It is very close to perfection :)... You have some talent friend...
