My first show experience, AG Russell 2010

Well, this was definitely different than what I expected, but still tons of fun. Garth and Woz were the only ones from the Busse crew to show up and it was great hanging out and talking with them through out the afternoon. I was really hoping Jerry and/or Amy would make it, and maybe they might tomorrow? Lots of people showed up to look, but it wasn't a big show or overcrowded for today. I am told tomorrow should be the big day here vs Friday at Blade. It was great to meet the handful of forum members that were there.

The offerings early in the show.

There were plenty of cool knives steadily disappearing during the VIP session until one Hog showed up and cleaned up. After that the rest of the day's goodies were brought out but not much really happened the rest of the day. Definitely not a trough stampede style experience since I was easily able to get the Custom Shop TTKZ variant I wanted as well as a Custom Shop BWM LE bruiser variant with a clip point and recurved blade.

Pretty much. There were a few of the swords as well but they went pretty quick. Maybe more tomorrow?

I didn't hear anything about secrecy, but I didn't ask either, so let's just say for pre-order here it is a tad under BWM LE factory direct pricing.

It was a tough call, but not all of my knives are Blue/Black and the section that isn't sharpened and allows for a good baton point was the deciding factor on practicality. Plus, with as expensive as it was (think 5 B11's at ganza pricing) any additional help to keep it within sight out in the woods doesn't hurt my peace of mind one bit.
