Thanks for the pics Tim, Nice score...very cool:thumbup::thumbup:

Jeff, the only SFNO left yesterday at day's end was the red/black variant to the right of the nuclear ASH1. Don't recall the price though. I know you like them and the bruisers. I was surprised at how much Blue/Black there was yesterday... more than I could afford unfortunately, but some nice stuff to say the least. Especially the TTKZ.

I'm glad you scored some beauties;) that pumpkin zilla is off the hook:thumbup:

looks like a SOW with a harpoon tip

Sort of like a SOW-Slayer hybrid... It looks a lot like that proto I have that was offered at the KC Spring show, but with a more pronounced harpoon swedge grind and a Slayer skull-crusher. Cool score, manix J! :)

I see how it is- Leave me at home in MT to go to work while you gallivant around and buy knives :P So messed up, babe!

But in all seriousness, I'm glad you got what you wanted and that you got to meet Garth and Woz and a few other dudes from BF.

Now come back home (please)!

Alex, look really sweet in blk crinkle and blk!
I would have jumped at that one too!
I'll tell ya, the red and blk g10 looks really good in person, pics don't do it justice.
My satin saber sfno with red/blk g10 looked ok in pics but super sweet in person and even better in a blk leather sheath! It pops!
J

That blade is the one Batman would have in my mind. Great score manix J.

More pics from about 40 minutes into the show yesterday morning. It pretty much looked like this right from the doors opening. The Argonne Assault was out but already scored before the first person through the door could get to the table along with a few other nice things. Hog trickery! :barf: :p

Peter, you are very welcome and I am very glad it all worked out the way you wanted. You are definitely going to love that one when it shows up. The flatter grind on your CS TTKZ is more like a diamond shape than the double appleseed convex of the rest and really the only other unique one there out of 9 TTKZ's total so far in the show. They added green/black, orange/black, brown/black & tan/black handled ones yesterday.

Tom, day 2 started kind of frustrating as the doors opened a little early for one particular individual and most of the best goodies were already gone by opening time. I hung out and talked with various people, including a several forum members and the Busse crew. Then we did a little show and tell with the stuff we bought or brought right at the booth due to inactivity. The biggest crowd gathered when I was describing my fun with the Gladius while it was passed around a bit. After that I had to leave with about 4 hours left to head out of state. I hope Jerry didn't wind up showing up as I would hate to have missed him.

Jeff, great score on the red/black SFNO variant, it is definitely a good one!

All in all, it was a ton of fun and I hope I can make it to another show in the future where it is a little bigger. After talking with Garth, I think I will try to make it to Knob Creek at least once! Plus I got to meet the Gunny!

Between the busse crew/hogs and the gunny....I wished I could have made it to meet up with you all

sooner or later I will make it to one of these things for the knives...but more importantly to meet good people of the forum in person :D

I'm not surprised he stormed the trough early. He was quite displeased with my "baked goods delivery" subterfuge on Day 1!!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Hogdom!!

Dayum, that slight recurved, clip point BWM, is a beauty for sure, nice custom mod, it is quite a notable improvement.

Tim got the two knives that I really wanted but couldn't afford - the two customized BWM's. Congrats Tim - it was really cool meeting you and the others!!! :D:thumbup::thumbup:

Certainly will be looking forward to that CS TTKZ Tim

You would certainly enjoy Knob Creek .... it literally is a "blast" :D Everything from Artillery to Flame Throwers and Chain Guns ... :D

Plus Amy's cheescake and having a drink with the crew is a great time

Outstanding!! Love the Hog Trickery. A cloven hoof salute to you!:cool:

Tim, the Gladius show was fun for sure. The one guy just could not believe Bisse blades are this tough.
