my first single action

Nice revolver! I've done one SASS shoot with my dad. Loads of fun, but I can't wear the dang boots. They kill my feet ;)

Nice guns guys!!:thumbup::thumbup:

The blued 7 1/2 in is a 1978 in almost mint condition. Both are .44 cal. I'm in love....:D

SA's are cool!!

Congrats! nice weapon, SA's are great!, been looking for a Vaquero in 45 ACP or 44 special- no luck so far,,

Beef, thanks for the clarification. That is a nice looking Uberti. I have an old Great Western Arms in 38 Special that is in need of some work. It's not my favorite caliber for a Single Action, but it will do. I just haven't had time to do much with it. After seeing pictures of your Uberti, I am thinking of having it nickel plated. I've never owned a nickel sidearm.

Nice gun beef, now you need a matching one to go with it.

Wow beef that's amazing. When I said there was one like it I was talking about abizzybombs montada and my old vaquero. Yours is truely a one of a kind.

Thanks Abizzy- I had found a 45 "L.C."/ A.C.P. convertable Vaquero in Oklahoma, almost snagged it but the dealer would not ship to the *PRC to much paper work or some such. So lost out. Want to stick to ACP if possible as I don't reload. Have some people looking for me now but thanks to 'you know who'- the big bummer, pickin's in all types of firearms is slim. Alway's thought it would be fun to have a single action and a 1911- in the same caliber. Retro fit custom SA cylinders in .45ACP are pricey. Some day I will catch one though.

Gotta love the Ruger Bisley Vaquero!
not real period correct looking, but it soaks up recoil like nothing else!

I've never had a SA revolver. Actually only have one wheelgun right now, gonna have to fix that once I get some stuff paid off.

thats some good shootin. looks like a blast! i dont know how you can see with all that smoke!

That's a beauty! My Vaquero is the only single action I own and need to bite the bullet on ammo prices and just take her out!

You look at the targets before the shooting starts and then listen for the ding. After the first few rounds I'm shooting purely from memory.

That looks like a great time Cricket. Maybe I would do better at that than the mounted horseback shooting. If the ground throws me off i have bigger problems. Still is fun on a horse though, even if im not very good at it yet.
