• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

My first W.I.P, The Moss Bowie

Hey Petah... Thanks for the good word. Do you have any pics of you knife you mentioned? I'd love to see it.

I posted a Pics on the chopper/Camp knife thread. It's on one of the last pages. If you can't find it I can email you some pics.

Petah... I was following the camp/chopper thread on this sub-forum but must have missed your camp knife. Email me some pics if you have any time or send me the link. I'm working on a 'hunter' design for Charlie to work on for me next. :)

Thanks petah... Love that Blade shape!!! Not sure I like the weave handle for hard use purposes... but that's because I've never had one.

I would suggest a longer clip or no clip. it did not work well... I could use it for stabbing but I think I'll just use a pointy stick to fend off bears...

The belly really serves it's purpose and It clears light brush VERY well. I usually follow Powerlines or I trek in and around lakes/creeks to get deep into the woods and there is this spiny springy bush that is too thick for a machete and too inefficient for an axe. The handle is ok. I may change it down the road but it's profile is great. Even with tired ice cold wet hands the thin waist and thick butt made it impossible to slip out of my hand. I do wish I had a throng hole as well.

Hopefully Charlie gets back to me about a fighter! I really like his style. I'll just suggest a Thinner blade and Small handle.
