My first wrap...how did I do?

I definitely like the look of the Strider wrap but I wear mine on my neck and I find that the wrap you did keeps it thinner and for me its more comfortable that way.

Nice work, very clean.

I don't see any blood anywhere in the picture so by default, you did better than half of us around here.

+1:thumbup: Yes, good wraps on all. But it's only a matter of time for getting blood drawn. Then you can choose to re-wrap or keep the blood stain to show everyone how careful you are.

I really like the Stryder-wrap....looks like it will fill up more hand-space.

I'm going to wrap up one of my izula's with that style of wrap, just not sure which one.

I could go dark OD or OD on my Hunter's Orange, I have a Tan that I thought I'd put handles on, then I have a grey textured one that would look good with black.

I want to do a Stryder wrap, but also want to put a knot at the end of the handle, with room to put a pinky through and then another knot. Not sure how the Stryder style ends so I'll have to watch the video. Thanks.

That's the truth!:D

The nice thing about paracord wraps is that if you make a mistake you can just un-wrap it and try again. I got an Izula for christmas and it's been wrapped and un-wrapped and wrapped again about four times now.

Well.....like I said, I undid it and did it again like 2 times, I should have just left it alone, I wound up doing what I did in the first place.

To the OP. That is a good looking job, I always have trouble making the tie off at the end. Looks great....

That looks great...I think you should do a step by step instruction...would love to give it a try.

another "pointer" for you... once you get it wrapped the way you want to keep it, soak the paracord in scalding hot water and set it aside to dry for the night. as the cord dries it will actually tighten more and harden up some as well which gives it a more secure feel.

not my original idea, i read the suggestion on this forum a little while back and it works well.

The first one was tight, this one is very tight!

I was going to buy the scales for the knife until I saw this...I really like the cord wrap! I will definitely secure the blade, I have had enough stitches over the years =-)

Wow...I guess I did do a good job! :D

If you're talking about mine.

Great wrap. My youngest daughter wrapped mine. I made sure to tape that blade up first - too many stories on this forum of Izzies popping out of their sheaths during a wrap and biting their owners.
