Great job and well deserved prize. I love my Hinderers too! I bought a Wilson Combat Startac Zaan last year, it's one sweet blade.

Thanks. I did it by myself and yes the competitive drive helped but mostly it was a need to get healthy. I'm lucky that my job has a fitness facility in the building. I set a strict workout routine and never waivered from that. I learned to make smarter choices with my food. Winning the money to buy my Hinderer was a bonus :)

I wish more people would understand this. There is no gimmick that can replace hard work.
 
I agree completely craytab. Trust me, over the years I have tried it all. No substitute for proper diet and exercise. Congrats by the way on your weight loss too! I re-read the thread and realized I forgot to comment. 20% is incredible.

Thanks. It also allows us to not worry about packing a few extra ounces of knives or other gear.
 
Awh thats a sweet knife! I've never handled a Umnumzaan but love the 21. Happy spending the rest of that money, you deserved it.
