My humble collection

I like the triple CBTers :D
I actually didn't know they made a Hell Razor with it

I think the HR CBT is the most functional... Fuller and everything. Yet the battle mistress cbt... Wassat for?

wow. maybe I will have to look into a anni mistress. I cant imagine it being quicker than a bwm is the 90 degree pommel as comfortable as the gradual bill on the bwm?

Petey, what do you think about the cbt jackhammer?

At factory pricing, the ASHBM is a steal. You won't regret picking one up, you will be surprised how balanced, and light it feels in hand. Its awesome.

When I brought the ASHBM, BWM, and a couple other choppers out a couple months ago, I used the BWM and ASHBM most. BWM wa s comfy. Don't get me wrong. Just felt like it was trying to slip out of my hand. That's what lanyards are for ya? Wish I still had it actually. Its a great blade.

The point is pointy ;) ...

It is a great addition for a Busse user cause it fills a niche for a mid-sized pointy blade...

The slabs are flattish, but comfortable...

Overall, very nimble in hand and the choil is quite handy...

I'm not a fan of the pommel, but it fits with the theme of the Jackhammer, so be it!

I give it   ...highly recommended and they come up occasionally on the Exchange for reasonable $...better grab one:cool:

I see no discernible difference in use of CBT (I'm probably not beating em hard enough :o ), but there's nothing like it from any other quality maker on the market, it looks cool, it's a Busse innovation, & it increases my pride of ownership...CBT ROCKS!!!

I think it's a great collection. If I had to start over, I'd look for a CABS, BAe, SHe, CGFMB, B8 and B11 first.

I just got my first ASHBM a few weeks ago. It doesn't feel right in my hand but I'm going to try it out anyway to see if it can bump the CGFMB from favorite status.

yeah, and with a fuller to boot...neat knife, it was sage coated and very color coordinated & proper with the smog handles...but I thought better of it and stripped her and made her bare her dimples and she didn't even blush...such a minx!

CABS is a winner in any configuration...I like choils, so the LCABS is my go-to...

As for CGFBM....well, it is a MUST HAVE...you will not be disappointed, probably my most prized blade and most fun to use...go for it, remember, no regrets ( BTW, I hope the mods don't flag me for using "regrets" & "CGFBM" in the same post :p )

I agree, the ASHBM is an awesome chopper. For the size of that blade it is deceptively light in the hand. FFG makes it bite deep. I've given mine a good floggin' more than a few times and it scoffs at me!

I had to knock the shoulder on the cutting edge down a bit to have it bite as deep as I'd like.

Not so today with my basic 11, I imagine its due to the slimmer stock. I can only imagine what a slight reprofiling of the edge would do to that baby. Just a bit off the shoulder. The factory edge is sweet. I'd like a full convex zero edge chopper to try. Like a SAR8... But a SAR11. Or a choilless basic11 le. Let's start a SAR11 thread.
