My husband LOVES his Para!

There para is my favorite Spyderco

Next get him a D`allara drop point--ball bearing lock, vg10 blade, really built, 55 dollars

And you get a Dodo: S30V, ball bearing lock, G10, ~75 dollars

Kinda sorta. They have a building, and there are some little showcase items at the HQ, but you can't really go inside where they make the knives. They used to allow it, but the insurance guys put an end to that IIRC.

What a disappointment! They should at least allow those of us who post on this forum to go in ;) I would give anything to see the factory space. Ah well; I will post pics if I go (if I can figure it out!).
 
I have a Para now largely because this post stirred me up enough to let go of the $100. Thanks it is a great knife.
 
Horray! I was already taking credit for your new Para, so I'm glad you confirmed my suspicions :) I still don't know much about knives, but from the sounds of it, this is one Spyder that belongs in every collection.
