RRG, I sure hope you get the knives that are owed you, but jtstrider isn't impressing me as being a stand up kind of guy. Seems like a bit of a weasel to me. Hope for your sake that I am wrong.

I would be P-O'd too. There are sooo many good people on this forum it would be a shame to lose you, RRG. Stick around, I have done tons of deals without a hitch, and met some cool folks.

Friday??? I think it should be done and confirmed within 24hrs due to the fact RRG's just left hanging on this deal.

RRG, I am hoping for the Best on this deal for you, we have dealt before and you have always treated me right, Really hate to see this happen to you.

Bob, give us the serial number of the UTX 70 so we can keep an eye out for it is the sale and auction forums on the net.

What color, blade and handle did it have?
 
Not trying to pat myself on the back here, but how hard is it to ship something, and ship it with a del con? I recently completed a trade with a member on here, and the PO screwed up on delivering his knives. Not my fault, but I told him to keep me posted. I'm glad to hear that the knives finally arrived. What this guy JTSTRIDER or whatever his name is doing is poor business practice.

Since I joined, I have had nothing but great trades, but it just goes to show you, you never know when you might get a bad apple.

On my first trade, I was scared out of my wits, thinking that my knives were gone forever. Well, countless trades later I am confident of the members here, and I hope they are confident of me as well.
 
Gentlebeings, we're still hoping RRG will get his knives -- better late than never. Until Friday isn't too long to wait.
 
Gee, I'm glad I didn't take him up on 2 UTXes for my Strider Custom. The guy was like a spastic dog humping your leg. If you go through the trade section he offered them to anyone with knives for sale or trade. Jacker. :mad:

From a legal perspective, delivery confirmation is near-useless. It only shows that the knife was delivered, not where it was delivered. It could have been left at the neighbor's place. The best thing to use is signature confirmation.
 
So at what point would we have cause to have an address posted for this guy here?? I am now afraid to deal with ANYONE from GA :D

Is the address a Street Address, or a PO box? Theft is still illegal, even over the internet. He needs a visit from law enforcement. (or a vigilante mob). :mad: :mad:
 
It sucks when it becomes hard to trade with any new blood here, I try to deal with only longterm members because of this.
 
I just finished talking to the police dept. in the City where this guy lives.
They have put me in touch with the Sheriff Dept. in the County & I am
waiting for a call back. The Postmaster where my PO is gave me the
direct # to the Postal Inspection Service here in Houston. I'm waiting
for the Friday deadline to pass before giving each dept. the info. they
need. He lives in a town of 6000 people so if the Sheriff dept wants to
help they shouldn't have any trouble finding him. It is a street address.
