My knife collection. Ok ladies & guys lets see yours.

Hello everyone,

We got done with my knife sunday and we went to lincoln yesterday, so i am just getting around to testing, taking pics and posting them. We saw Indiana Jones-Crystal Skull yesterday, it was good..

Anyway about my knife, At first i was very disappointed because the
handle is dymondwood and doesn't feel like you get a good grip like with g10, but Bryan sanded it down smaller and now i really like it. I guess it was just too big. I still think G-10 is best for gripping. Its better than micarta or dymondwood in my opinion. I chopped some wood and Bry still shaved some hair off of his chest. We don't have my sheath done yet. Kathy

I know a girl that will want that color handle on a knife. She has been carrying a Mora 760. Do I show her or save money?

Hi JNieporte, Those Okapi Knives look really neat. I never seen any like that. I don't know nearly as much about knives as you all do. They have an antique look to them which i love....Thanks for showing your collection, Kathy

You want one? E-mail me with your shipping information and it's yours. My E-mail address is in my user profile.

Here are some pics of my kat knife handle shape. I like flat better but this is pretty small and feels pretty good. It was alot more rounded and i did not like the feel of it at all. I am thinking about a pathfinder with red G-10 next....:D

Kathy - I think you and Bryan should market the Kat knife with the thin slabs as a neck knife. It has the right size and weight. Both my wife and I sent off the pathfinder and kat knife to Normark to produce some kydex sheaths. My wife wanted a very tight fitting kydex without any loop or anything so she could keep the Kat in her purse and keep the bulk and weight to a minimum. I asked Eric to puts some holes at the bottom so that she can convert it to a neck knife in the field if she wants it that way.

We both like Eric's leather, but we also wanted an additional option that maximizes the light weight and compact character of these knives.

Wow all of you are going way out in showing off your knife pics. This is just awesome.

kgd the Kat knife would make a great neck knife too. I really like neckers myself.
I might just have to get a kydex video showing how to make up sheath with this
stuff LOL P.S. I am just kidding I have enough on my plate now with cutting trees
and making knives.

Hi Mr & Mrs KGD, That is a really neat idea to have the kat knife to keep in the purse or around the neck. Let us know how that works out.....Kathy

Hey Tony,

Nice collection! But I couldn't help but notice how sad your BK-7 looks. Is that because it's intimidated by BK-1 and really wishes it would move out, like to Ontario and be replaced with a sibling BK-7 that it would have more in common with perhaps with a bit of lubricant to ease the transition? :D
