Hi all, I wanted to share with you all my collection of knives. After maybe two years of collecting (Of course, I wasn't collecting when I started. It just developed into a collection.), this is what I have worth showing. I have some others that I won't bother putting up.

Good stuff. You're hooked, too. :)

Photo quality = Above average. Thank you!

I have (2) Benchmade Ruckus', which see daily (ab)use at my boatyard. Good call.

Here are a couple new editions to my collection. :D

A nice scandi bushcrafter by Karl-Erik Lindblad, purchased on a different forum. It's a little beauty just waiting to be used.

And something I picked up at a local knife festival last weekend. A bit of rust on the blade, but I quite like it. Has a good feel in the hand and came hair-popping sharp. Very few knives in Japan are full tang, so I liked that this one did have a full tang, but then he told me that the tang was stainless steel welded onto the laminated carbon steel blade. Anybody have any comments regarding the probable strength of a weld like this?

Here's another recent addition. I traded a nata and an all-purpose Japanese knife for it. It's a Trapper Cultery "Forrest Trapper".

Here is the latest addition to my collection. It is a "Mountain Man" knife made by Mike Girdwood. It is very thick and sturdy and will outlast the existence of the known universe.

Here is my latest knife; a sweet, custom bushcraft knife by T.K. I had been looking for the perfect bushcraft type knife and this is it. I like everything about this knife - size, design, materials, etc... and I got it for a really good price. :):):):)

Another Anza. I got a bigger one this time. So many times I've been mezmerized by how good a knife looks and don't look close enough at the size measurements, then am disappointed when the knife is smaller than I had been imagining it was.

Hello folks, these are 3 new additions to my collection. I just like to show the pictures of my knives. I hope nobody minds.

WalterDavisBushcrafter.jpg

This is a nice bushcrafter by Walter Davis. It's just lovely and the sheath is beautiful as well. It has some purple stripes to it. Not sure what he did there, but I like it a lot.

Ontario12.jpg

A 12 inch Ontario machete which I WILL take out and do some serious testing on after I get it sharpened by the old retired military guy I know whose job it is to sharpen things.

Opinel.jpg

Just a little Opinel. A first for me. I really like the simple design and light weight. I will probably get a few more different sizes.

Well, that's all. Any and all comments are welcome.

Hey James, I really, really like those, especially...

the Lindblad scandi and Girdwood Mountain Man:foot::D

Looks like you're getting quite a collection of well made, good lookin', FUN knives to get to use:thumbup: Glad you like the lil' clip-point:cool:

Thanks for the pics James, they are really good.
I like your background variety. Great collection!

I like your Bushcrafters best. Keep them coming!

Here's something new I found on ebay. It's supposed to be a handmade knife made by an American serviceman in the Philipines in 1947. I like it for it's historical value, the story behind it, more than anything else.

An American serviceman far from home, perhaps a bit lonely, maybe feels the gear issued to him isn't enough and so takes things into his own hands and makes his own knife. Lots of jungle in the P.I. What did he use knife for mainly, I wonder. Killing poisonous snakes? Hacking through the bush?
