My Knife Collection

A great collection. The actual Japanese inspired designs are the highlight to me. I really enjoy the blend of utilitarian design and subtle natural beauty. Nothing overstated but pleasing to the eye & completely useful. Great photos!

Time for an update to my knife collection thread. :) It's been the rainy season here for 2-3 weeks now, so I haven't been able to take photos. Today, cloudy as heck, but no rain, so I thought I'd give it a try.

First is an "exact pattern of the original Remington outers pattern" made by Bruce Godlesky of BirdogForge‏. It's a compact, nice-looking knife. It would make a great kid's knife, but my son is only 2 months old. How long should I wait? ;)

Next is a really beautiful hunting knife by Eric Knight. What a deal I got on this one. :) The double strap sheath is also quite unusual and cool, I think.

Last, but not least. It's huge! This is a giant of a knife, the blade is a foot long and a 1/4 inch thick, by Walter Davis from his Moonshine series. Big and sharp, it chops really well. I really like Walter's knives.

I hope we get some better weather soon. I have another knife to show, an O-1 sheepsfoot blade folder from that ebay knife shop from Thailand, but I didn't like the photos I took today. That folder is the sharpest knife I've ever got in the mail. I'll get a pic up of it soon.
